Our cutting edge 3-D parallel code, PENTRAN can be used for hyper accurate modeling and simulation to perform 3-D core physics, detector, and shielding simulations on commodity parallel clusters.  These computations can also be augmented by computations using Monte Carlo methods, such as with MPI parallelized MCNP.  Reference calculations can be performed to optimize fuel shuffling, minimize power peaking, and optimize burnup.  The parallel scalable nature of the code enables one to solve whole core problems.  For shielding applications, optimizing shield design to cut costs and still provide the most effective shield design is paramount.  Contact us to look at how we can make this a reality for you
